Brief History:
The Department of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) was established in 2005. The goal of all occupational health and safety programs is to foster a safe work environment and protect the welfare of people engaged in work or employment.
Objectives:
The Department of Occupational Safety and Health at Jen-Teh is a professional field, concentrating areas in occupational safety and health, disaster prevention, and Monitoring and Testing in Workplace Environments.
Features:
The department develops a series of curricula in regarding to safety, health, fire prevention and environmental protection. Practical professional activities are required for students, and they are definitely delivered on fire safety, ECR training, plants visiting and lecture forums with the purpose of cultivating and promoting the abilities of occupational safety, health and disaster risk management.
Curriculum:
Our curriculum includes Introduction of Safety, Introduction of Hygiene, Risk Assessment, Chemical and Physical Workplace Environment Monitoring, Human Factors Engineering, Emergency Response, International Standard Certification, etc.

1.Workplace Environment Monitoring Lab
2.Lab. for Safety and Health Education
3.Safety and Health Training Lab.
4.Ergonomics and Work Physiological Lab.
